Seller Terms (Online Store)
EspañolVersion: 2026-10-17
These Seller Terms apply to businesses ("Sellers") that sell through the online store provided by Jordi Espinoza Mendoza, persona física (RFC EIMJ010323BU6), doing business as fidlat ("fidlat"), including the hosted store at /shop and the store API. They supplement fidlat's Terms of Service.
1. Who sells
The Seller is the seller of every product offered in its store and the only party to each sale with the shopper. fidlat provides the software and is not a party to the sale.
2. Seller responsibilities
Products, descriptions, prices, photos and allergen information; holding the permits its activity requires; preparing, delivering and fulfilling orders; customer service, cancellations, returns and refunds; and complying with consumer protection law (LFPC, PROFECO).
Showing shoppers, through the store's legal details, its legal name, RFC, address, contact details, terms of sale and privacy notice, and keeping them accurate.
3. Taxes
The Seller is responsible for the taxes on its sales and for issuing invoices (CFDI) to shoppers.
4. Payments, fees, refunds and chargebacks
Shoppers pay the Seller directly, into the Seller's own Stripe account, under Stripe's terms and the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. fidlat never receives or holds the money from a sale.
fidlat charges no commission on store sales; the store is included in the Seller's fidlat subscription and requires it to be active. Stripe's processing fees are charged to the Seller by Stripe. Any "Service fee" the Seller chooses to show shoppers is the Seller's.
Refunds, chargebacks, disputes and their fees are the Seller's responsibility and are handled from its own Stripe account.
5. Prohibited products
Products that are illegal, require age verification (such as alcohol or tobacco) unless the Seller verifies age at delivery, or are prohibited by Stripe's policies.
6. Shopper data
The Seller is the data controller (responsable) of its shoppers' personal data and must publish its own privacy notice. fidlat processes that data only on the Seller's behalf (encargado) to run the store, payments, orders and notifications, keeps it secure and confidential, and deletes or returns it when the Seller leaves, except where the law requires keeping it.
7. Suspension
fidlat may hide a store or disconnect its Stripe account from fidlat if these terms are breached, for fraud or a high dispute rate, or at an authority's request. The Seller can unpublish its store at any time.
8. Content
The Seller owns its logo, menu and photos and licenses fidlat to display them for the store, and confirms it has the right to use them.
9. Liability and indemnity
The Seller indemnifies fidlat against claims arising from its products, content, sales and handling of shopper data. fidlat's liability is limited as set out in its Terms of Service.
